• Artist Statement

  For this project we were tasked with creating self portraits that created a fictional scene that encapsulated some aspect of my self. For my portrait I heavily used photoshop to recreate a scene from one of my favorite anime: Neon Genesis Evangelion because I just feel like the pose just kind of suits me in a weird way. It's not the seriousness that encapsulates me but its the dichotomy of the seriousness with my naturally goofy personality.

• Creative Statement

  The ability to plaster what ever is going on in my head on to a piece of "paper" whether it be verbally or physically. Also applies to my day to day problem solving.
