• Artist Statement

  I really liked this photo in particular because of the patterns and repetition shown throughout the photograph. I took this photo on one of the days when we were able to wander around the campus to take photographs. My partner and I came across this abandoned foosball table and I noticed how the tiny players created interesting lines and shadows. This is what ultimately made me release the shutter. Once I put the photo into Lightroom decided that it looked best in black and white because of the contrast it created between the shadows and the table. It also brought out the detail shown in the image.

  To me creativity means expressing your emotions or who you are in a way that is special and unique to you. In a way it is using your imagination to create something that is significant to you and may convey inspiration or ideas onto others.
