• Artist Statement

  It was fleet week, and I knew that I had the opportunity to capture great photos of the blue angels. In the photo, I decided to capture their trail of smoke, and to capture the photo right after they reached their peak and started downwards. I positioned the jets a little higher and right of center in the image to give more room to the rest of the image and the trail of smoke.

• Creative Statement

  To me, creativity is being able to express myself with my own unique style through photography. It means going with my gut feeling and instinct to take a photo that I personally feel proud of, and not necessarily trying to take a photo exactly as someone else would want me to.
