Did I ever tell you?

Brinnley F.

  • This flash fiction was written a few years ago in response to a photo prompt of a military air force hangar. As an individual with family members serving, something like this happening has always been one of my greatest fears, and I wanted to show through writing how impactful it could be. I love this piece because it gives a different perspective to PTSD than most stories, and it shows how much PTSD can affect a family along with just the individual.

  • Taking what may be ordinary and making it extraordinary.
