• Artist Statement

  My piece addresses the effect that the realization that human kind is past the point of help has on my generation and our want to bring about further generations. I personally, after becoming educated on the various issues of our world, have never wanted to bring someone into this world only to have them experience the detriment of our world along side myself. This is showcased through my use of a belly cast of my mother when she was pregnant with me used as a prop in this self portrait series.
