I often feel trapped in the endless and monotonous routine of my daily life. Getting up, going to school, barely staying awake through hours of lectures, after which I go home with piles of homework to do before going to bed and repeating it all the next day. As I created this drawing, I focused on this monotonous and trapped feeling, using charcoal to draw two fish in captivity. However, the fish clearly have an easy way out through the wide bars of the cell. I’m aware of the easy way out of my repetitive life, but like the fish, I’ve decided to be patient, tallying the days until I’ll be living a more fulfilling life.

Creativity is being able to freely express what you want and how you want. It allows you to accomplish things that haven’t been accomplished before, making it the most valuable aspect of progress. Because of this, having creativity gives people the power to change the world.
