I took this photo in my photography class last year for a street photography project. I took it from a window above Union Square in San Francisco. Capturing the photo from this window provides a unique and interesting angle. I was able to capture both a protest happening within Union Square and the array of buildings behind it. The photo is taken on black and white 35mm film and was printed in the darkroom before being scanned and edited.

To me, creativity is about self expression. It is about taking a feeling/though/memory that is inside of you and making it into something tangible. It is a way to show your personal view to others, or to just get it out there for the enjoyment of creating something.
