  • These flowers are majestic, yet planted in an old, red plastic cup. The contrast proves that beauty can exist anywhere and can not be diminished or stunted by circumstance. Whether growing in a grand garden or a priceless heirloom vase or in a cheap cup on a kitchen windowsill, the flower’s beauty remains the same. We grow where we are planted. My goal was to capture the grandeur and intricacies of flowers, paint the pedals to seem open, strong and proud, while painting the cup to seem small, weak and near crushed under the weight of the flowers.

  • Creativity is the truest most original, unique, personal part of me; allowing me freedom without boundaries, rules or expectations.
