• Artist Statement

  This poem is very special to me in the sense that I believe that in it, I am my most authentic self. In my poem, umbilical cord, the feelings portrayed are raw and deep. With each line there is a truth and meaningful analogy.

• Creative Statement

  Creativity, to me, means when someone allows their deep feelings and inner conflicts to be released into the different forms of art. It is the sharing of who we are to the world in the most passionate way possible.
