• Artist Statement

  ”The Flightless Dream” is a charcoal drawing that delves into the theme of the fragility of hope. The central figure, an angel, gazes downward as her once-magnificent wings gradually fade into transparency. The visual metaphor represents the limitations of dreams and the bittersweet acceptance of the unattainable. The contrast between the figure’s vanishing wings and her tangible form creates a juxtaposition of despair and hope, showing the impermanence of human desires.

• Creative Statement

  Creativity begins with a quiet moment: in the art classroom or my bedroom. Then, once the pencil touches the page, my mind is captured by the flow of my thoughts and the pen moves without cognitive control. Imagination goes wild, making the page a mirror reflecting my emotions without limits.
