The End of the World

I wrote this piece to a photo prompt. The photo showed a beautiful red and orange sunset over a body of water. It reminded me of the end of the world, and I began to think of bittersweet ways to frame it. I chose to write about a forbidden relationship that couldn’t be possible in the normal world, and so the end of the world could seem like a good thing to these people. However, when it actually happened, the cons outweighed the pros. My favorite part of writing is creating a world with my writing, and I got to do this with this piece.

To me, creativity is the unique ideas and combinations of them that come from a person’s imagination. It’s a way to express who you are and what lives in your mind. Everyone can create amazing things alone, but when people work together the greatest parts of the world are made.
