This short story is written as if from a fictional book series that I am currently in the process of writing, that I call ”Tales of Arnen and the Lands Beyond.” In this world that I am creating, dragons represent evil in manifest form. One of the main premises of this series will be hope, and trusting that even in the darkest of times there is always a bright side, something to look forward to. I hope to inspire people with my writing, and to lift spirits from hopeless states into hopeful ones.

Creativity, in my mind, is a gift we have been given to spread light, joy, and hope to people who do not have it. I am glad to be a creative artist myself, and wish that my writing will be used to inspire, and encourage.
