I’ve always loved subjective opinions and perspectives. After all, “Art is in the eye of the beholder”. I wanted to write a piece that was intriguing, weird, and unexpected. I interpret this piece my own way, even though it is my work, and I want others to interpret it for themselves. For me, it’s a piece about how big things can seem from small perspectives, and in that way is mirroring humanity. It’s also about a unique point of view, a small beetle who’s whole world is underground. His detailed discovery of an unknown corpse and its contents, cotton, microplastics, and all, are meant to morbidly fascinate. He is a very analytical little bug, you see.

Creativity is the lifeblood of artists. Without it, we would cease to exist. Life would be horrid without creativity, it wouldn’t have any flavor or spice. Creativity gives this beige world meaning.
