• Artist Statement

  Rest Hour is a portrayal of the essence of procrastination. Its name comes from the 5 weeks I spent at a summer camp where there was an enforced ”rest hour” every day, but the premise of the piece extends to any similar conflict between work and rest where both time and energy are wasted.

  Creativity is the synthesis of enough lived experience that the exact inspirations of the resulting creation are too innumerable and subtle to fully dissect.
