In our project class we have been learning about addiction and how drugs affect the brain. My play is about a teenager who gets ”laced” at a party because it’s not uncommon, and she becomes homeless as a result. I want my audience to know that you should be careful who you surround yourself with and keep around you. You actions can affect your future. When I started writing, it just came naturally to me. I’ve seen people on social media who were ”laced” and the dialogue just came into my head.
