Queen of the Hive

Eric Y.

  • ”The Glittered Pollinator” This piece captures a fleeting moment in nature—a bee on a purple flower, symbolizing the beauty and purpose of pollination. The vibrant purple flower evokes creativity and transformation, while the bee represents industriousness and connection. The purple glitter overlay transforms the scene, adding a touch of surrealism and elevating the natural world into something magical. Glitter, often associated with ephemeral beauty, highlights the fragility and wonder of life’s simple moments. By blending nature with a fantastical element, I explore how we perceive both the material and mystical aspects of existence. This work invites viewers to reflect on the quiet, essential processes that sustain life, urging a deeper appreciation for the often-overlooked wonders around us.

  • Creativity, to me, is the representation of yourself through different arts and doing so in unique ways. Being able to think outside the box to represent both yourself and your ideas through different mediums, or being able to put a twist on things already created is creativity.
