• Artist Statement

  This work represents the effects of fires on people across the West Coast. Many have been affected by the various fires, resulting in destruction of communities, loss of homes, and much more in part as a result of global warming. I built the building in Mission style to be representative of California and how the fire is wiping away its people and its history.

  Creativity to me means thinking through and coming up with an idea that I then bring into reality.
