This photo was taken while I was on a day trip in San Francisco. My mom and I were taking some friends who were from out of town on a tour of San Francisco. We took them to get some pastries and then went to Alta Plaza Park to eat them. While we were there, we were admiring the views of the city and I had my camera and decided to take some photos. This one is my favorite from that day because of the contrast of the houses with the view of the water from behind. It also shows San Francisco’s uniqueness with the photo being on top of a hill, the bay being at the bottom, and the contrast of the houses on both sides.

It means taking the beauty of things and framing it. With photography especially, I can share the beauty of everyday things that not many people may notice and emphasize it through a photo. Being able to frame things in a new light can help me share my thoughts with others.
