This is a book cover I designed for the book ”The Secret Garden” by Frances Hodgson Burnett. It is one of my favorite books, and has been since childhood. This peice is my first completed digital project, and my first time drawing digitally since early 8th grade. The front cover depicts the garden mentioned in the title how it is at the beginning of the book, and from an outside perspective. The back cover shows said garden at the end of the book, and from an inside perspective.

The freedom of being able to express myself in non-traditional ways. I find my creativity comes out in my sketchbook drawings and ”customizing my character” for lack of better phrasing. I cut and dye my own hair, diy my clothes, and have fun with makeup.
