While visiting Oman, I took several day trips with my family members to different local destinations. I took this photo at a spring named Ayn Razat. We visited during the monsoon season, so the sky was consistently cloudy with greenery everywhere we looked. Due to consistent rainfall during the monsoon season, the lack of rain, as well as the stillness of the spring and how it reflected the mountains inspired me to take this photo. We also saw many Omani children playing in the spring nearby so the stillness of this particular area stood out compared to other springs we visited.

Creativity means being able to see things from a new perspective and being open minded. I oftentimes take inspiration from many different things in order to create my own artwork. I think creativity in photography specifically is being able to take anything and transform it into something beautiful.
