I decided to create a short 80s themed slasher trailer about an elf that would kill people. I first had the idea because of the fact that from October to December, I had a huge old horror movie phase, spending most of my nights in my room watching slashers. This interest only intensified after I decorated my home for Christmas, giving me the idea to create my own film for my Digital Arts 2 final. I had to create a storyboard at first, laying out the scenes and dialogue that would be spoken in my film. I also had to collaborate with my peers in my class and other friends from school to have them be part of the trailer and play their specified characters. The result of this was a horror slasher trailer that tries to encapsulate the exaggerated, slow dread that would cause unease to people decades ago.

The ability to take inspiration from various sources whether it be personal values, exposure to media, or any other experiences/ goals in their lifetimes, and make it their own (developing existing ideas or creating new ones) is what I view to be creativity.
