The girl in the painting is beautifully lit by a red light source in front and a blue light source behind her. Her skin is shaded with purple hues. I specifically painted the girl with vibrant colors and an overall sense of peace to create a sense of uniqueness and give a futuristic feeling. This painting highlights, in its own way, how beautiful and different a futuristic society could be with the help of technological advancements. It contrasts the many artworks that criticize the exponential growth of technology and portrays it as the downfall of humanity by showing how it could instead create uniqueness and distinction, which is not inherently bad. This is shown through the bright color palette.

Creativity is the ability to think outside of the box and create something that is true to oneself. Society may not agree with what someone has created, but creating something to express one’s ideas and uniqueness despite judgement is a talent.
