Columbine’s Freedom

Columbine flowers represent freedom. Using a play on the words, ”bed of flowers,” I wanted to convey escaping from reality through the act of sleep. The deep blues and blacks at the top blend into the flowers in the middle, and then turn into pastel hues at the bottom, symbolizing the comfort of ”dreams.”

Creativity is a way for me to express myself to the world in a way words cannot. The way I can just transfer a part of my soul onto a blank canvas and share it with others is so fascinating and meaningful to me.
