An assignment about finding a word that does not translate into English was assigned in my class. After going down a rabbit hole finding all these new languages and words that had meanings so deep and resonant, I was in awe. I found the word cavoli riscaldati, an Italian word that means trying to revive an unworkable relationship. Though there were many words, this one struck out the most to me. Having such a deep meaning but translating to reheated cabbage was what really made the word so interesting.

Creativity is more than just being good at art. To me it’s a way to express my thoughts and feelings. Everyone has a side of creativity to them even if they don’t know it yet. It’s a really special thing to be able to grasp.
