In the 1980s, Gloria, a free-spirited woman, learns that her treatment for an illness has failed, giving her only a short time to live. Seizing the moment, Gloria embarks on a journey with her friend Chris to experience everything she’s ever wanted. Along the way, she seeks to repair her estranged relationship with her mother before it’s too late. Our project explores themes of grief, friendship and the beauty of living fully in the present. By setting the story in the vibrant 1980s, we were able to integrate the decade’s music and colorful costumes to emphasize the era’s energy, adding depth to Gloria’s personal journey.

I think creativity is one of my greatest skills. It’s a beautiful way of escapism, showing your identity, and helping others. I believe creativity, in a world of technology and development, is something we desperately need. The human ability to feel and to create is vital to our society today.
