For me, the creative process is intuitive and organic. I never force a song to come to life; instead, my music reflects my emotions in the moment. ”Broken Bridge” is a snapshot of a particular emotional state, representing feelings of isolation and the belief that things may never improve. It touches on my struggle with communication and suicide ideation. Questioning whether letting go would hurt others or if it’s a selfish choice. The song offers insight into my mindset during times of high distress. The title ”Broken Bridge” comes from the line, ”But I see the light on the other side, but I’m on a broken bridge, and I don’t know how to fly,” symbolizing the hope for change while feeling uncertain about how to reach it. Ultimately, the song reflects the conflict between believing in a better future and the difficulty of finding the way forward.

Creativity is vulnerability. The most powerful artwork comes from a deep connection to the piece itself. Writing, music, beats, or lyrics, is my way of expressing emotions that are often difficult to communicate through conversation. I find solace in seeing my progress through the evolution of my writing.
