American Hemorrage

  • This is drawing is a visual representation of my thoughts on American politics. The background and the outside of the water is very colorful and pleasant, but if one ventures into the water, they will see the true nature of the political landscape. The water is diluted with the eagle’s blood symbolizing the brackishness of American culture. There are no extremities, but it is a blend of many principles and beliefs. The water is also home to many dead fish. Some fully dead, and some slowly decomposing like many fundamental American concepts and beliefs. Like an ecosystem, if one species or type of organism disappears, it can cause devastating damage to the original ecosystem and destroy it forever. This shows that in a country, if one or two principles fall, it causes others to as well, soon destroying the nation and making it unrecognizable.

  • What creativity means to me is taking real world things and interpreting and expressing them in different ways. Creativity isn’t always purely from your imagination. It can be fantasized, but it also can be realistic as long as it shows the original ideas derived form your mind.
