After a long hike through the rainy fjords of Norway, I arrived at the summit overlooking the water below. As I looked across the vast, peaceful landscape, I remember noticing how small the boat appeared to be next to the towering mountains. I wanted the photo to capture the true size of the boat in comparison to the mountains surrounding it, and since the heavy rain started to pass, and the clouds opened up, a soft light shined over the mountaintops creating deep shadows and a peaceful, quiet photo.
