This photo is about a neighborhood I took in one of the suburbs of El Cerrito while driving by. This was one of the poorer suburbs of the city as the road in the photo was not as clean and some people lived in multi-family houses, as well as having older cars. I was inspired to capture the photo, especially in monochrome because this scene shows how I think, the dark reality of American Life is. The reality of people living in suburbs like the one described, but across America. I got this monochrome-theme inspiration from other photographers' works, as their works and the one I captured both show a single and bold message about a topic, theme, or subject. In this case, the singular message of the "American Reality of Life" vs. the "American Dream".

A girl with an irrational fear of eggs is assigned to care for one. Now stuck with her biggest fear, she’s forced to deal with it; little did she expect to form a bond.

I remember that when I was very young, I loved to experiment with using stop motion to animate my toys, but this claymation is my first real stop-motion project. I completed this short video in one weekend during September of 2023.

As people grow up, they are at risk of becoming mentally trapped, losing the endless imaginations of their childhood selves. Succeeding in school, finding a job, and accumulating other responsibilities in life can sometimes lead to inhibition of creativity and curiosity.

As a Nationally ranked competitive figure skater, I wanted to share my love for the sport and everything it has to offer. Figure skating combines both various dance styles with difficult acrobatics, therefore allowing me to maximize my self-expression in a unique way.

This was a documentary conceptual project I completed for my junior year photography class' "people" unit. Each friend of mine that was recruited to have their photo taken was directed by me to stand in a place I chose, and told strike a neutral pose. This spreads attention from only the subject but also their surroundings, giving a sense of looking into a museum-built life-sized diorama of middle-class teenage home life here in Marin. After I took their portrait, I took pictures in locations based on where they were standing (On either axis of the subject, either east/west or north/south). This was done so that once the photos were together in a triptych, a general theme of their own slice of the outdoors could be understood by the viewer.

My Friend, my ocean, my sky. The birds on the beach they fly fly fly. Spontaneous day out on the town, we went to the beach where we lay down down down. My friend my friend with the red shirt, the hot sand on your feet does it hurt? The ocean breeze on your hat, photo taken with IPhone but does it look like that?

I took this photo of my close friend Cedar. I really wanted to encompass this fall vibe. I did this by using a pumpkin as a prop, and went from there. We took a lot of photos, but I decided on this one in order to highlight the contrast and facial expression. I am very happy with how this turned out.

I took this photo of my sister and our beloved dog. My sister has taken photography classes before, so I'm all too familiar with being in front of the camera, but not behind. It was a very special experience to finally switch roles, and also to have our dog included in it this time!

The photo shows my friend Hannah. She's smelling the roses in my backyard. I thought it was so beautiful how both her and the rose were blessed with such divine freckles. And that, both her and the rose's beauty, is what I was trying to capture in this photo. Along with her smile. You can tell that she's pleased. Whether it's the fresh, floral sweet smell with hints of spice or the delight of the afternoon. We were carving pumpkins for halloween and that was when it first started to feel like fall. I hope that more people can see my work of life and it's admirer, Hannah.

This photo is just my mom and I having fun and taking all kinds of pictures. I think this one turned out super cool because the yellow and red balls really stand out in the grey background.

I take strange, beautiful, and calming pictures

To take this photo, I used a DSLR camera. I took this photo at my brother's baseball game. I edited this photo through Photoshop, I wanted to emphasize the colors in the photo. I also cropped the photo for the proportion between the fence and the biker. This photo means a lot to me because it represents the great times I have had biking with my family and friends.

I captured this candid moment on the salt beaches of Alviso Marina County Park, San Jose. I was inspired by its simple yet serene ambiance. From the pink lake and white sand, the complimenting water bottles stand and hold a story deeper than one could imagine. This piece represents a feeling of togetherness, timing, and harmony.

My piece is about being your authentic self, I wanted to showcase young women who have big personalities and the power associated with feminine. My movement aesthetic is explosive and sassy; I feel like if we all shine our light and be our authentic selves we can can shine bright as the sun. The colors I chose are bright neon colors to represent the"energy" of being free, feminine and yourself.

I have always been into film but have never ventured into photography until this year. Once my boyfriend took me out to shoot some street photography, I fell in love. Now photography, like film, has become one of my passions. All of my photography has been shot local to me (i.e. Petaluma, San Rafael, and Novato). I focus mostly on line, shadow, color, and light and I'm extremely inspired by my boyfriend and fellow photography friends.

The title of this photo is Sun Gaze. My goal when taking this photo was to capture the glow and beauty of the sun, the rays of sunlight coming down over the river. This photo also gives relaxing energy with the scenery all around it, hoping to calm the viewer. I took this photo in Reno, NV, when I last visited. My goal was to try and get centered with the river and the sun capturing the scenery.

The following picture demonstrates the bond of how far humanity and nature have come. This picture shows my dogs Coco, Rocky, and Eevee enjoying life getting ready to go to the park and how full of life they are,because even though they depend on us, We depend on them because no matter how tough the day was, our furry companies are always there to be by your side.I chose this picture because i love my dogs and they bring so much love and joy in me and my families life

I am sharing a five minute excerpt from a piece of choreography I created in my junior year. The original piece is nine and a half minutes. I got to perform in the piece (red shorts, blue top), direct thirteen dancers, create costuming, and design lighting.
