Just wanted to give reasons as to why reading helps strengthen you're mind.

This is a story of how I was groomed online for years. It continues to affect me and I used this poem as a way to cope.

This piece started as a microfiction with required words and actions. My writing is generally dark and this is no exception however I selected this piece to revise and submit because I feel my writing style has changed and improved.

I decided to write this piece to show and spread awareness on how it feels to be a victim of sexual assault. It shows how agonizing and disgusting is really to be sexually assaulted.

My entry is about a girl struggling with insecurities and body dysmorphia. It represents hope in overcoming self hatred and discovering self confidence. It is about growing mentally as a person through life. This piece can be very relatable, especially to teenagers.

This first poem, "Different Voices" is very close to me. It is based on my own and my friends' experiences with self harm and outside pressures. How can you decide who to listen to when they all want the best for you? What do you do when your own voice tells you to do something that you don't want to do, but you don’t know how to stop?

This is an assignment I worked on in my English class during Freshman year. The purpose of this creative writing assignment was to research someone in our family (had to be blood related) who lived at least 100 years ago.

I wrote this one night when I was tired. The words came to me and I had to stop what I was doing and pull out my notes app. I remember thinking that it felt nice to have these words out on a page––bad because I was feeling like shit, but good because I knew how to express it.

It is a science fiction short story (it will become a full novel) about five young adults traveling to space to become the first crew to reach Jupiter and start a colony on its moon Europa. But evil lurks among them somewhere.

Creating this artwork was a spontaneous endeavor for me, as my poems hold immense personal significance. Writing serves as a therapeutic session for me. These poignant verses effectively convey my emotions and aid in the processing of daily experiences.

Preformationism is a formerly popular theory that organisms develop from miniature versions of themselves. That I chose it as my title might tip you off—I’m a tad bit fixated on my childhood. This collection is a product of that childhood. Semi-autobiographical and semi-fantastical, these poems portray my relationships with my parents, my peers, my perception of the world, and myself.

Idalia Featherstone started out as a poem that I made earlier this year. But after I showed my mom, she convinced me to continue writing it. Which lead me to set the scene with the prologue, a nameless girl, who is face-to-face with misfortune and pain. While the first paragraph of chapter one ventures into the life of a young girl, Cleo, who is experiencing more then she can handle.

A semi-biographical script to an RPG game that I'm currently working on. It contains some real life experiences and is based in the mind and its mental state. It’s was made by combining lessons from AP Psychology, references from real world humor/video games (Looking at Omori), and what I truly think about my real life counterpart of a person.

I often use writing as an outlet for my emotions and these pieces were the result of writing without care for how perfect or well written they were. I wanted to write pieces from my heart, whether they be fictional or about my real life, I wanted the words to be honest and raw.

Chess is a boardgame that consists of pieces each unique in itself with the power of turning the tables of the game at any right time. Players constantly find themselves stressed as their opponents slowly turns the game out of their favor. Chess is not only a game but a intense phycological warfare. This inspired me to photograph an image that depicted the game in its true colors using dramatic red lighting and angle.

"Downhill" is a montage about Downhill skateboarding. I wanted to capture the feeling of joy that can be accomplished with doing an activity you love with someone else, and how much better it makes things.

This is a one shot film created during a school field trip. It won the first place award for the school film festival. We are so excited to share it!
