  This piece started as a microfiction with required words and actions. My writing is generally dark and this is no exception however I selected this piece to revise and submit because I feel my writing style has changed and improved.

  Creativity to me is survival, writing is vital for me. Literature was my lifeline in the moments I never thought I would survive.
