• Artist Statement

  The galaxy and night sky inspire this painting, and I used a radial technique to make this painting. There’s a sun in the middle, moons and stars as well. There are also ribbons surrounding the sun that represent the Milky Way. The color theme used in this painting is split complementary, contrasting the sun and the night sky.

• Creative Statement

  I’ve always had an interest in the galaxy and painting, this art piece combined those two interests. This is also my first time trying the radial techniques, and I’m satisfied with how it turned out, it reflected the image I had in my mind.
