Scars to Your Beautiful by A. Cara

Aashirya V.M.

  • With the current rise in social media filters and diet culture, young female teens feel the need to conform to society’s standards. I want to represent teenagers and remind them that beauty comes in all shapes, skin tones, personalities, and smiles. As a community, it is our responsibility to uplift others and practice empathy with each other. By creating this video, I hope to remind young people that they are seen and heard, and to be truly be beautiful, they “just need to be themselves”

  • Creativity allows me to uncover a side of myself that I never realized I had before. During the most happiest and difficult times of myself, it allows me to feel powerful and create an impact toward an audience through art.
