This set of pieces was inspired by my passion for house-watching. I love peering at the houses in my neighborhood, wondering who lives there, and what their life may be like. My goal was to emulate this wonder through my artistic medium. My creative process was heavily influenced by my inclination toward geometric shapes and designs. In the making of this set, I created blueprint plans that resembled the ones of an architect designing a house. I have quite the joy for math so I especially enjoyed calculating and measuring the dimensions needed for each wall, window, and door.

Creativity is a means of expressing my emotions, personality, and most importantly, my identity. The ability to translate my sparks of inspiration into tangible artwork is empowering. But creativity is more than my physical art. Creativity influences the way I think and how I perceive the world.
