• Artist Statement

  This was taken when I was hiking a trail near College of Marin. I noticed the vast hills of trees and greenery and felt very inspired to try and capture it. I wanted to make it special though, not just take of photo of just the trees so I came back with a friend and had her stare off into the distance and appreciate the view. With her staring off into the distance I feel like it makes the scenery feel so much more important and so much more alive. It gives it a lot more meaning.

  Creativity means to be alive. Without creativity we aren't really alive, Creativity gives us meaning and purpose.
