For this drawing, I was inspired by the sparkly and ruffled dresses I saw. I wanted this piece to feel calm and tranquil, so I used cooler colors to try to convey that feeling. The ruffles on her dress give off a light and airy feeling that should help the drawing convey calmness along with the moon. I started this drawing in grayscale, then I used layers like "color" and "overlay" to add color to the piece. I finished things off with a few color adjustments before adding the final touches: deeper, more saturated blues and purples, and the little glowy dots scattered at the top and bottom of the drawing. She is holding a red rose up to her nose, and her long black hair reaches the ground. Her dress is long and glitters under the moonlight. It starts out violet and fades to red, which helps to contrast the cooler background. Strings of pearls and small purple butterflies decorate her dress, and the ruffled train of her dress starts out blue and ends in purple. She sits on the curving branch of a tree as tiny stars dot the night sky. The white glow of the moon lights her from the side. I don't quite know what her story is; perhaps she's a goddess, or maybe she's a princess enjoying the smell of a rose in nature. Either way, I really enjoyed turning this drawing from a vague idea in my head into an actual drawing.

For me, the word "creativity" usually brings to mind drawings, paintings, and illustrations. Then I think about things like writing, sculptures, and dances. All of those things are also creative, so to me, creativity means someone's ability to create something.
