This painting portrays a sinking feeling I’ve been experiencing quite often recently; Feeling isolated. Its like being submerged, where no one can hear you because your voice is silent. Loneliness is really heavy and it presses down on you, making it hard to tell what's real and what's just a distorted reflection underwater. But in the midst of that, being underwater feels very slow and eerily quiet-- almost surreal in a way. I wanted to capture all those complex and messy emotions in this drawing.
