• Artist Statement

  This piece is meant to be a show of irony, because while skeletons are generally representative of death, the skeleton in this piece is simply enjoying life. The jello and jelly jar are juxtaposed to the skeleton, which is hard and brittle compared to the jiggly jelly. While the inside of the room is bright and full of life, the outside is gloomy and apocalypse-like.

• Creative Statement

  Creativity means inspiration to me, as well as a wide range ideas. For me, it is associated with art and writing, because all both require creativity in different forms.
