My “Happy New beginning” artwork displays new colors growing from the old in monochrome to send a call for change and that change is possible. I started with the idea of visualizing the objects in my still life composition to create an interesting story. After I envisioned how my objects will be arranged then I started to explore intricate details of each object to uncover the interplay of light and shadow. I created the clear concept and message I want my art to deliver. I wanted my art piece to focus on a call for a change so I liked the idea of gluing paper cuttings of colorful flowers to give a bold contrast to the graphite. To make my art piece catch attention, I experimented with different types of materials, such as texture, color pencil, graphite, cut outs, and mixed media. I kept adding finer details to help capture form, texture, and proportion with greater precision.

Creativity means using my imagination, experiences, opinions, research, and learning to create meaningful artwork showcasing my passion and personal message to the observers. It also means using my pieces to wow the audience, create social awareness, and inspire them to improve our world for everyone, especially animals.
