What started as a daily exercise requirement, hourlong walks, turned into an exercise in observation. I started to take that seemed out of place, like a bright pink Welch's wrapper on the brown ground or a red juice box in the hand of my school's statue. A fever dream is characterized by being bizarre and nostalgic at the same time. When I look through these pictures, the colors are so vivid it feels like I'm waking up.

To be in awe because of the abundance of knowledge and random occurrences and how complex our world is, to take that and capture it in some way (ex: an article discussing a novel idea or a sculpture that defies gravity)
