  This piece is meant to display the disconnect between the bleakness of reality and the beauty of distraction. In the modern world, with the deterioration of our planet’s health specifically, the attractiveness of the world is being stripped from us. Instead of confronting the problem, people tend to look for an alternative means of finding that beauty and fall into the hands of a fake, digital reality, as portrayed by Escapism.
