• Artist Statement

  I drew this based on Georgia O'Keefe's macro images. I wanted to focus on the smaller details like the web and each intricate part of that, as well as the dew drops on the web. I think spider webs are so beautiful and the spider spends so much time working on something so beautiful, so I wanted to appreciate that.

• Creative Statement

  To me, creativity means saying something you cannot necessarily say with words. Seeing something in a way that not every one else would see, and expressing yourself in a way that makes you feel something real and raw.
