• Artist Statement

  Plein air is a special art process for me because it’s so different from what I usually do. It’s the feeling of being outside in nature, doing something creative and so innately calming, that makes it unlike anything else. I take the time for quiet reflection, to paint away any stress I may be feeling from everyday life. For me, it’s nearly akin to self care, and in times such as these, I think that it’s important to take a break and focus a little bit on me.

  Creativity is all about self-expression. In art, you can be whoever you want to be, regardless of physical and circumstantial conditions.
