No matter where I am, I am always filled with different narratives flowing through my head. Sometimes I understand them, and sometimes they are so puzzling I can only wonder what they mean. I wanted to illustrate what my brain looks like to me, and I felt it was only fitting to use the sea creatures to represent that. Oceans are so vast and numinous that they spark a lot of awe. No one quite understands how many creatures there are within the depths, why they look the way they look, or even where the ocean ends, yet the mystery is beautiful.

To me, being creative allows me to express feelings and thoughts I don't know how to describe. My creativity gives me the outlet to process my emotions and escape from reality. Through living in a complex world, I can create beauty that makes life easier.
