Silent snickers and deafening whispers + All the world; and you

I find solace in the words I write. Turning to the page in times of struggle and uncertainty. Like most of my work, I wrote these pieces to put my feelings on the page, and find something within numbness. The poems I write are a way for me to search the arteries and depths of my heart and decode what it is trying to tell me. In this instance, my work is mainly about past loves, and unrequited feelings - and what they contributed to my journey of self-discovery.

In words, I find myself. Often trapped between the ideas of who I am and who I think I should be - words give me a way to find the person behind all the masks and layers of fog. Through poetry or prose, I allow vulnerability within verse and the stories I create.
