This performance was a solo performance for Lowell High School's 2022 Winter Choir Concert. I decided to select the song "When I Was Your Man" by Bruno Mars I was determined to select a piece that demonstrated great risk, showcasing my vocal abilities and highlighting the passion in its tone. Standing alone on the stage, I open my eyes, letting my vocal cords take over, hitting every note and riff effortlessly with grace and sentiment. Glancing over the faint foreheads in the dark auditorium, I realized I was in my element. Singing on the stage was my pride and joy, and was where I was meant to be.

Music and performing has always been my biggest passions. All my life I knew I was an artist. Sitting at my piano, inexpressible words flow out effortlessly through my vocal cords. Music recovers my repressed emotions and self-reflection, as I put words and music together in an authentic manner.
