• Artist Statement

  Nowadays, my brother and I drive each other bananas. We're one year apart but at times it feels like we're from different planets! However, one day my mother dragged us off to visit a farm. We agreed, reluctantly, but ended up working together all day to get the best photographs we could. We have amazing memories of the trip. It represented not only a day full of creativity and outdoor activity but a day where my brother and I were back to how we used to be when we were young. I believe we got a fantastic shot of this smirking goat due to us working as one. Each time we see this photograph it makes us both laugh and connect like we did on that day at the farm.

• Creative Statement

  Creativity impacts my life in all areas - how I constantly rearrange my bedroom, the clothes I chose to wear each day, how I arrange food on my plate. Expressing creativity is when I'm at my most relaxed and feel most myself.
