• Artist Statement

  When taking this photo, I tried to think about what would contrast nicely with the flower. Whether it was an angle or a background. I took a couple shots and felt right with this one. I think that all of the factors were lining up and it ended up being one of my best photos. I am very proud of it.

• Creative Statement

  I love doing this because I love seeing things that others may not be able to see. Having a different perspective on the world, you see things differently. Instead of seeing a tree, you see a leafy emerald green piece of nature.
