• Artist Statement

  A tear-off poster about group therapy for being sober, among other poster taped to a window. The poster has multiple tabs pulled away, ripping away other parts of the paper and it shows the vulnerability of people, but also shame in the lack of care they took when tearing, likely in haste.

• Creative Statement

  Creativity and art helps change my perspective in life and makes me think about others and myself. Art moves me, hearing other peoples stories and finding myself mirrored in others’ art, and knowing that there is a shared experience or identity.
