The Common Man

I am interested in the connections that I see in my day to day life between humans and technology. I watch as the human race becomes more involved and dependent on technology, and I express these perceptions through my art. I often enjoy depicting the simple emotions and anatomical parts of human beings in my more robotic pieces as a sort of jab at the human race for centering life around something that doesn't feel. In this art form, I chose to make, 'The Common Man,' the man that I pass on the way to the supermarket or school, of whom I know nothing about, but in my mind leads a straightforward, simple life. This man is portrayed as a robot to symbolize the repetition of his life and how the actions he carries out are predetermined.

Art is the biggest form of self-expression that I provide to the people around me. It is how I communicate what I am feeling at any given time and it is a way for me to manifest my ideas in a creative way. Without art, I would be a different person.
